Investment scope

The fund is equity fund and more than 60% of its asset must invest in equity. This fund can be invested in highly liquid financial instruments of approved global and emerging markets, including money market instruments such as bank deposits and short term bonds; fixed income instruments such as government bonds, corporate bonds, convertible bonds and ABSs; equity instruments such as stocks, preferential shares, GDRs, ADRs and REITs; funds, structure products, financial derivatives and other financial instruments approved by CSRC.

Risk-Return Characteristics

The fund is equity fund which has higher risk than money market fund, bond fund and balance fund. Also, This fund is global equity investment fund. Apart from the market risk which is similar to the domestic funds, it also has the foreign exchange risk, sovereign risk and emerging market risk which are special risks that need to be considered when invest overseas.

Fund Manager

Mr. Roger Yang, from Taiwan, Master¡¯s degree in financial accounting, has 10 years investment experience in Taiwan. Mr. Yang joined ChinaAMC in 2005 and is acting as the director of the overseas investment department. 

Mr. Zhou Quan, Master in Finance, has 7 years investing experience. Mr. Zhou joint ChinaAMC in 2000, served as research analyst and manager in trading department.

Mr. Cui Qiang, MBA, used to serve as investment banking manager at Swiss Credit First Boston (from May 2001 to August 2001) and vice president of securities investment and research at Eaton Vance Asset Management (from June 2002 to January 2008).  Mr. Cui joined ChinaAMC in February 2008 and served as macro strategist, investment manager, Assistant Director of Global Investment Department and Deputy Director of Global Investment Department successively.
